    same here savy lol

Back from a special journey:( to and from A. Apparently the Skips and the Doritos/Monster Munch/Squares are in different offers from each other, although they are both showing as 2 for £6 and were both in the same section of the shelving in my A.

CS gave me the £1.50 difference from what I paid, commenting (to SA) 'we can't keep doing this', but wouldn't give me £2 GC as said it wasn't an overcharge but I'd paid the correct price. Was therefore giving me the £1.50 as goodwill (although I thought the £2 GC was the 'goodwill' aspect?). I also think it is an overcharge in the sense that the price I originally paid was more than I expected to from the SELs. SELs in my store do not make clear what are within each of the different 2 for £6 offers (no doubt because supermarkets wouldn't want to draw such limitations to the notice of customers). They admitted it was 'misleading', although I don't expect it will be changed nonetheless, for the bracketed reason.

:(:(So back to what I had believed I should have been charged in the first place, nothing more and money lost on the (albeit small) amount of petrol for the journey. Will have to choose my next SA with care for the APG from the shop.

Just come back in absolutely drenching rain. Should have gone out much farther yesterday afternoon, when they were predicting the early rain that never came:(:(. Weather forecaster today tells us the rain is coming from a southward direction, an 'unusual' direction that is 'hard to predict'. I wish they'd told us that last thing two days ago when they made the prediction!:(

Refund plus £2 giftcard will soften the disappointment?

No. Didn't give me a GC at all, as I've just explained.

Does anyone's A - which is showing 2 for £6 on the large bags of crisps, have signs up explaining that there are two different 2 for £6 and stating which products are within each one?:rotfl::D

Thought not - I've never ever seen any anywhere! As I suggested, it doesn't seem in any supermarket's interests to make such limitations to multibuy offers clear.

Instead presumably they rely on many consumers, who decide to mix and match from different parts of the same shelf, to purchase and not realise a multibuy saving hasn't come off? As almost happened in my case. They weren't even going to refund at all till I said they were on the same shelving, it wasn't clear etc., and even then got someone out to check.

Mad earlier, because the journey to A took me out of my way. And now it's raining:mad:. Could otherwise have made something of this afternoon, enjoying the sunshine probably just a little farther away.

    Hello to everyone,

I sorry I don't post much, but you all seem to have everything covered! Am enjoying reading all your posts, and have finally worked out how the MSM cashback vs shops will work although not yet tried it!

I have also installed the click n snap and shoptize apps on my smartphone, but again not used them.

DH has just returned from Sainsbobs. OMG I'm so glad I wasn't with him. I finally worked out how to print the coffee voucher off so gave him 4 and said see if you can get any.

Well when he returned he had got 4, but when he was at the till the SA forgot to put one voucher through, so offered to give DH cashback instead but couldn't do it. Till captain was called over and was suspicious of voucher asked where it came from and was it photocopied? General Manager was called over and again disputed coupon. Thankfully my husband stood up to them, and argued his case so they reluctantly gave him the £1.29 cash.

Not sure I'm brave enough to go into Sainsbobs for a while!!!

DH on other hand says we didn't do wrong.

Is it OK to print more than 1 coffee voucher? Also just to say the coffees are 2 for £2 in Sainsbobs at moment.

    What a shopping expedition I'm glad i didn't go on!! I feek embarrassed and I wasn't there:eek:
