    Darn you all.........

I was just forced to go to Lidl to get chocolate and got soaked on my return!

Melt 2 bars in a glass bowl on top of a saucepan of hot water, then stir in a small pot of natural yoghurt, pour over the top of flapjacks and leave to set. Then nomnomnomnom :o

Shops today produced petrol vouchers for use up to 10/8.

A little annoyed as I topped up at Ts and they are 134.9p a litre - another Ts in next city it is 131.9 so we are already getting ripped off 3p a litre before the vouchers.

Am I the only one that missed deals due to faffing around rather than ordering and then spend hours/days kicking myself for the missed opportunity?

I saw the deal the other week about the iPhone 5 refurbs on the refresh plan working out at £240 - I didn't really need one but would have made a nice present for Mrs Anon as an upgrade - finally went to order in my basket just as they went out of stock :(. Price seems to have increased now (still oos but that is not the point!).

I have done this a few times where deals have come up, I don't really need them but then decide I want them and end up disappointed :o only bettered by going on Wild Goose chases for glitches that I again don't really need, but want, and spend hours chasing round various stores.

I sometimes need my head read ... :(.

Misery guts says the exact same to me as you said in your last paragraph.

There isn't really a specific answer. They can't have it both ways. They all benefit from our perceived madness but don't want to go back to spending stupid money.

I do spend more time on the same wild goose chases. I'm sure I can find more important stuff to be doing :rotfl:

I'm very careful not to let it turn into an obsession. I've seen people on here over the last few years who are totally obsessed and (IMO) they became not so nice people. It's about finding where to draw the line. Everyone has different lines and while most of ours are somewhere in the middle, there are others whose lines are right on the end of extreme.

I took a break after the big asda glitch last year, and did a muggle shop or two. To start with, it was a refreshing change to do shopping that I didnt have to plan so meticulously :o

Evening all, managed to get ,ahem!, a few chocolate bars today, and some beef mince.
Still no mags in mr t's, no rice. No finest vouchers, think I might frequent another store, mine seems a bit rubbish, unless of course, other fellow mse'ers have got there before me, lol :D
