Phew...!!:) I'm long back from M, as you well know, and eventually I will have the details on every item available in Morries:D:rotfl:.
The highlights from tonight then... it's a jumbled mess!:( But what can I pick out from that lot?? Not a great price-change week but, as usual, the odd ones here and there to catch you out.
I think I'll deal mainly with the T fuel promo. The Nescafe Gold Blend Refill 300g pack is £6.00 in M:T:T (£2.00/100g - in itself a fairly decent price (my normal upper limit!).) Not wanting to pour a downer on it, my M had the label with the barcode - price label showing £6.00 - but no product:(. I found plenty of this product though at the end of the aisle, but only with a price offer label rather than a bar-code label type. Don't know how T collects its prices (do they just look at barcodes and if they see no stock treat it as N/A or will they look around and see it? Of course, while no stock in the usual place mid-way along the aisle in my store, it may be different in other M stores.) Hopefully T PP will pick up.
No good on the Original 300g jars though - M is £7.45!!
Not much luck on the baby items vs M. Sadly the Heinz 750ml juices (I only have Apple juice and Apple & Blackcurrant juice in M) appear to be £1.67 each and not on multibuy. However, my main M is notorious for the odd missing multibuy offer label so perhaps double-check if you're already in M and I'll also try and have a look tomorrow but can't guarantee it this week sorry.
The Cow & Gate 12mths+ Summer Fruits juice (500ml) is £1.28 in M, so appears to be Tvs A (although msm, my first port of call, seems to call it "4mth+").
I was looking in M for products that they do not stock - I couldn't find the Hipp apple juice or the Bebivita product.
However, I have found one item that is vs M - Peter Rabbit Organic Apple and Grape Juice 150ml T 67p M 61p. You'd be looking to have items that didn't compare to M or weren't available more expensively in M though.
As for the breakfast cereals, I think I'll separate this from my M list and put a list below as some of these are not good price per unit items in the absence of a fuel deal - just so you don't get confused by me having good value and not-ordinarily-good-value (but perhaps in T promo.) items on the same list. Therefore, I'll kept my M list to the ones that fall within my normal prices (approx. 20p-23p/100g).
The following items (which are not as low as 20-odd p/100g, indeed some of the following may be twice that cost:eek:) are on offer in M - no time for me to check, I'm afraid, which are avail. in T and whether any are cheaper priced in A or S (you can check MSM for that, and then the relevant competitor's website (A or S) if either of those two are cheaper). Of course, no guarantee T will pick up M's price or offer. In no particular order:
M prices
Weetabix Crunchy Bran 375g £1.78
Kellogg's Crunchy Nut Corn Flakes 375g/Frosties 500g Any 2 for £3.00
Nestle Cheerios 375g £1.14 (until 4/8)
Kellogg's Mini Max - Original or Chocolate (560g) £2.00
Weetabix Minis - Chocolate Chip or Fruit & Nut (500g) £1.50
Nestle Shreddies - Frosted, Honey or Coco (500g) £2.00
Jordan's Sinply Nutty Fruity 700g-850g £2.00 (Fruit & Nut 750g, Crunchy Granola Tropical Fruits 770g)
Weetabix Oaty Bars Rainbow Smashems (5x23g) £1.00 (also Tvs A) - no idea whether this is in T cereal for fuel offer or not:o
I did have some own-brand honey nut cornflakes on my collected prices but see that vs M on 750g T product is same price as S and A, and the 500g product is T Eday Value and non-comparable (M's standard range 500g honey nut own-brand is £1.65 - but T Eday Value should not compare against this. Should:(;).)
I'll go and edit the list to the carryovers.
Finally for a last chance (may be, if T picks up the M price) for £1.00 on the Askey's Round Cornets (you may recall I BM'd Sains to T's £1.00 price at the weekend but T have since increased their price to £1.10. Ocado - to whom T does not compare - are currently £1. The Askey's Round Cornets (21) are, T PP result permitting, Tvs M - T £1.10 M £1.00).
I am mentioning here as, very strangely, the offer in M says it is running until 25/7 (it's unusual for M offers to end on a Thursday) so it may be (if at all - i.e. T picking up the price permitting) a very quick Tvs M as, according to this, it's due to expire urgently in M - unless T's PP doesn't get updated, and no clues as to when.
I'm changing the three-post list to carryovers now. If I don't post after that tonight, goodnight!!:D:D (Oh, final thing, don't put the T Eday Value Pitta Bread (6) on Tvs M anymore - I've found it again in M, now priced at 25p! T is 22p.)
Oh - another final thing:D:rotfl:- lots of fresh ready meals in M on specials - some at £3 each (the see-through ones, mainly chicken and various different things in each product) and the Chinese and Indian ones (the same as have appeared here months ago) now on 'any 2 for £4'. Too time-consuming, sorry, to post the approx. 43 different M products on here tonight. I'll have to go through that (and check which, if any, compare from T and/or A) when doing the 'big list' - fresh ready meals this week were the frustration items!!:(:( (Not quite though - didn't feel that frustrated at all, just so many of them..)0 -
Oh, and a few more crackers to add to the stash.

One last final question, I promise
JF- it's the sachets or travel size stuff yes?
How many are people doing in one shop?
I have been getting the sachets, but found the travel size ones today so I got 6, didn't dare get anymore, will go and get some more tommorow. But need more mags now. We're just happy to have a home, a family and our health. Whatever else is just added and it fits.
