New vs Recycled vs Refillable - Help!!!

Hi, sorry to ask an obvious question, but I'm not very techie.... I have just been given a HP PSC 2355 and I need to buy cartridges for it. I looked at the HP thread, and have looked at three or four of the sites, but I'm confused as to which cartridges to buy. I don't intend to use the printer very much, it will be mainly for printing letters etc, but I may also try a coulpe of photos when I'm a bit braver.
So my question is, for the amount I'm going to use the printer, I am better going for authentic HP, non-HP cartridges, recycled cartridges or refillable ones?
Any advice GRATEFULLY recieved

You will be fine with remanufactured cartridges, they work ok and can last longer
