... I am not surprised, Coop are normally one of the most expensive supermarkets out there (even Waitrose look cheap on some items!). A shame as it exploits people such as your self who have limited access to the bigger chains/access to transport.

I picked up 6 packs today all dated October. At the same time I got some reduced steak mince so I've made some burgers.

Definitely.
In the (unlikely) event that I won't use up all my 6 packs before October I'll freeze it.
It freezes well in a block but I usually grate mine for use in cooking.0 -
Yes it can be frozen. When I buy in bulk I portion it into useable size pieces and then just take from the freezer as I need it. I find no difference in the cheese at all. Make sure it is well wrapped though. I usually put it into small sandwich bags first then place all the pieces together in a packet from cereal that we have finished. (the ones inside the boxes) These bags are so handy for all sorts of things.:)0
