enamel pans

I have an enamelled milk pan. It's not too old but I have used it fairly often and now there is a bit of a crack in the enamel inside. I read somewhere that these crack cannot be cleaned properly and the pans so affected should be ditched.

Ok I can easily buy a new one as it is no big expense, but before I do that I'd like to hear some opinions please. :)

I searched but there's a zillion threads and I have no idea where to begin.:o
Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.

I've got an old enamel roasting tin that's chipped, scratched and cracked and I still use it and it seems OK, and another couple of enamel pots that we use when camping that are completely knackered.

Even though you might not be able to clean it properly:eek: , you are boiling it every time you use it, so I wouldn't worry
