Wish we had road side veg sellers. Living in a big city there's nothing like that. I suspect anything that was put out wouldn't last long and neither would the money. Esther xSecond purse £101/100

I name everything and have been known to print off recipes too! And I always talk to my customers and tell them how to cook things, and frequently give people things for free if they haven't tried them before! Yesterday I gave hard up single dad courgettes and kohl rabi:) And all last winter I gave twins who lost their dad potatoes:)2013 NSD 100. Most of my customers are old ladies and gents who live in the surrounding villages!(and you're right, age doesn't equal honesty!) Not alot of passing trade but I've grown a reputation for veg that tastes good, not always pretty!
I do hate it when I can't sell things when I grow something different!
Uchiki squash today, 50p sposed to taste like butternut, bet I'm eating it soon!
hgotsparkle pm me if you wanna find me! though there's alot of little roadside stalls round here:)
I love buying and looking at other peoples produce, could I ask where you are? im Acle way which im guessing isn't too far from you, we spend a fortune on veg, mainly me being pretty much vegetarian due to not really liking the texture of meat.0 -
