Graduate Schemes and Mortgages

I still have a final semester at uni but wondered if anyone knows how graduate scheme jobs are viewed on mortgage applications?
Some of them are a year long, some two, some three. Some guarantee you a job at the end and some don't.
I was just wondering whether anyone knows if you will be considered for a mortgage providing you have employment for X amount of time, or whether a grad scheme would be viewed as a temp job regardless of automatic job after and such?
Currently saving up a deposit which will take time but trying to have a vague life plan..!
