Two P45s from last job

I gave the job centre my P45... after that I got my final paying slip from my last job but they made a mistake with my pay and they had to issue another P45.. so what happens now? do I have to give the job centre the last one ? will they sort it out??

I'd hand it in, but make sure you keep YOUR part (and I hope you did for the first one!) because I don't think an employer is supposed to issue a 2nd P45: if anything is paid after one is issued then it should have tax deducted as if you had no free pay left for the year, and then it sorts itself out later.Signature removed for peace of mind0

Yes, I kept my part. What they owed me was taxed.. I just don't understand their figures0
