Working for a Caravan Holiday Park

Has anyone ever worked for a holiday park in the UK. I have a friend who is interested in working at a holiday park along with their partner.
They have looked at haven holidays and butlins but there doesnt seem to be any information or reviews posted by actual employees. She wants to know what sort of positions there are, rates of pay, accomodation options that sort of thing.
Can anyone help her out at all?

Doing the investigation work - you don't have time to do.

My parents-in-law currently work for an independant site in Cornwall. They run the on-site shop. They have a weekly wage, plus get free pitch with electric hook-up for the duration they are there. They sold their house and bought a motor home x
Have a look here :

She doesn't seem to have looked very hard.

Most caravan site jobs will be advertised at the start of the year as a lot of sites re-open around March/Easter0 -

I used to work for a Bourne Leisure park when I was 19/20ish, working on bars. Pretty much all jobs are minimum wage, but Bourne (who own many big brands inc Butlins) are good about training etc.
When I worked there, there was a glass collector (even further down the tree than barstaff, and they were all 16/17 at the time so too young to serve) who was eager. He stayed with the group and was put in various levels of management over the years, running his own parks, turning over tens of millions of pounds. I know plenty of people who did years of A-levels, Uni, and management training who don't manage nearly such high amounts of money. Not saying not to do college etc (the parks rely on students to cover the summer peak anyway!), but there's a lifelong career there if you want it.
What do you get? It'll vary a little site to site, but usually you get a shared caravan, loads of work, loads of fun and play with colleagues your own age away from home, opportunities to learn a trade, and walk away with a bit of cash in the bank if you don't drink it all. The hours can be brutal, but if you're young enough to handle it, and to party late, it's actually a pretty great way to earn a crust.
There are various jobs - bars have a churn rate of 7-13% so there are frequently jobs coming up. There are also maintenance, catering, entertainmnets, groundskeeping, housekeeping, shop staff, office jobs and van sales roles available. Some have better hours than bars, but then spend all their money drinking on site when you're busy earning ;-) I think the cleaners have the toughest job for the money, if that helps.0 -
No disrespect but if you actually read my post properly those links do not answer any of the questions i asked on behalf of my friend, thanks for the links but we already checked them out. They dont give wages, they dont show any reviews from employees, they dont give options on accomodation and real information that you need to consider for this time of drastic move.Doing the investigation work - you don't have time to do.0
