Hi I had a paid DMP with valour for a couple of years. Thanks to this site I found step change and moved my DMP to them. It has been fairly hassle free changing except having to threaten Valour with Ombudsmen if they don't give me my detail after them promising they would send them in the post!
Now for the past 3 weeks Aqua credit card have been chasing me for the grand sum of a little over £200. As with all my creditors I kept them informed of my situation and that I was changing DMP, gave them the reference numbers etc. Aqua have rang me 3 times a day everyday. I have explained to them each time and told them I will report them for harassment but day after day they keep ringing. before I say anything I tell them to read my notes, they say they just need to go through security questions with me, its driving me mad!!
What can I do? I spoke to a manager today who assured me they will no longer ring but I have very little confidence in them

fermi gives some excellent advice about this in this thread. You may wish to write to them as fermi suggests, but if you receive a call, escalate the call until you speak to the most senior member of staff you can speak to, and tell them about the recent case law fermi refers to. This is:
Roberts v Bank of Scotland plc and another [2013] All ER (D) 88 (Jun)
The court ruled that Halifax bank continually contacting the debtor when they made it perfectly clear they didn't want to speak to Halifax, WAS harassment.
Hopefully your word with the manager will have done the trick. What will your verse be?

Send them a written complaint. That should keep them busy for a while. They can't easily ignore that, they can easily ignore calls.:beer:0

can you believe they have just rang me again!!!!
I refused to go through their security questions and just stated the above court case telling them I am truly sick of the harassment. Ive requested a callback from the managers manager and told them that I wont add the requested call to the list of recorded harassment calls they have made and I will be applying for compensation for the 45 minutes of time they have wasted of mine by asking me to reiterate my circumstances!! grrrrrr0
