Another month - no payment schedule

Options
++

I think I'm going to submit a wage request the CSA. :D I've sent them all the documentation they've requested (and more) after I restarted work (in March), given them information verbally over the phone and they still cannot get the schedule out to me.

I guess I'll be phoning them again this money to make my payment.

The only communication I've had is to say that my case has been moved back to Bolton (where it started 14 years ago).

Although I cannot claim to be a saint when it's come to dealing with the CSA - it does seem at the moment that I'm the only one interested in making sure the maintenance is collected.

Maybe it's time to raise direct payments (again) with his mum and leave the CSA out of it for good.??

Thanks for that - I cannot see the point (anymore) of phoning the CSA every month for a random advisor (who never seems able to access my case notes) to make a payment over the phone...

    Hi

Just had a visitor so had to half post so to speak.

What I would be concerned about is 'arrears'. I know you are doing your best but I bet arrears will be there..

Are you on speaking terms with mum? If so and if she has any sense she will come to a private agreement. And all arrears should come to her.

Perhaps a phone call to your MP explaining Bolton's usual behaviour - the staff are extremely rude and disinterested as well as not being knowledgable, aren't they? - and asking for a full account breakdown.

I remember they use to mess my payments up something rotten including assessments.

They do move quicker for MPs.

Last time I checked there were about £260 in arrears - which if I remember rightly dates back when I started at my last job nearly 2 years ago. That amount is about 1 months contributions and 2 weeks on JSA.

I am on speaking terms with mum (usually anyway!)

Well that's not too bad then.

Get mum to contact the CSA too and ask for a complete account breakdown.

I do hope you can both come to a private agreement ( that smaple form can be tweaked to suit both of you and lawyers need not become involved) and keep the CSA out of your lives forever.

    A word of warning:

Both of you need to get a letter stating that the case is closed and there are no arrears. I expect you both to come to an agreement as to how the £260 ( given it's correct ) will be paid off.

Don't ever get rid of any CSA paperwork EVER.

    Good Luck.
