hi folks, be gentle with me as its my first post...I'm curious to know if anyone has managed to get an ipod from mcvities vip club when they have saved 1000 points?Ive been trying for over a month now but there are always "none available, check back later" I emailed mcvities who said they restock them every week but ive been watching every day and i'm sure they are talking nonsense...I even checked back their twitter account to june and no-one has thanked them for an ipod that they have saved for, only the occasional special prize draw winners...has anyone else had a problem with this???0

Sorry i can't help with the ipod issue but just to say that I ordered a DVD box-set with my points and have had no end of trouble actually getting it! After waiting 28days, e-mailing them and being told they are having trouble getting hold of it and to wait another 2 weeks, e-mailing again after that time I'm now getting e-mails all over the place from them telling me different things. So after 7-8 weeks I'm still waiting and now being told me order hadn't been received even although I have the original confirmation and then asking me what it was I ordered, blah, blah, blah......I've no idea if I'll get it at all!! Their customer service has been really poor with one person not communicating to another and keep passing the buck. I hope you manage to solve your ipod issue and wish you luckSealed Pot Challenge Member no. 048

I’ve been waiting for an ipod too. McVities did put more on this morning – looks as though they’ve all gone again! I wonder if they're currently swapping over to the new model of the iPod Nano maybe? I usually speak to vipclubsupport@coinks.com they’re helpful it might be worth contacting them to ask if something’s got lost in the post?0

yes they did put more up this morning,, only 2 and thats their weekly limit.. its a farce... coinks say its a budget problem and mcvities customer service deny theres any problem. so i guess ive to sit in front of the computer every day to try to catch one of the "magic two per week" they release...what bugs me is that to get 1000 points you have to spend over £500.. ok you get a lot of biscuits for £500 but when your collecting things like tokens or points or whatever you tend to spend more than you normally would, and that is why i feel cheated.. if i knew there was only going to be two available per week i would have never started ..and i'm also sure if that was know then the promo would'nt have been mentioned in the MSE email...
what will happen as more and more people reach the 1000 point mark?....dont know if i'm allowed to say this but it smells like a con to me...(my apologies if i'm not allowed)

Buy them only when they are on offer, the rewards do not merit paying over the odds for them.
Quirks are on offer at £1, they earn 5pts so you can get 1,000 pts for £200, last month they were only 69p so you could get 1,000 points for £138 and in July (when I grabbed them) they earned double points and could be had for £1 so £100 earned 1,000 points.0 -
WOW!! well done, 1000 points for £100 thats how you save money ... i wish i thought of that...if your going to try for an ipod then i wish you luck... the way i see it is that when the promo finishes theres going to be loads of people who are unable to get an ipod if they only release 2 per week..why wont they let us put our name down on a waiting list instead of just saying try checking back later ... thats a con trick in my book...0

another day wasted, sitting in front of the computer in the hope mcvities decide to release another ipod... i give up with that company,,,i wont buy anything with their name on it again...0
