may I ask why?

It's a nestle thing - marketing powdered baby milk to 3rd world countries by saying it was better for the babies than breast milk, a similar thing with heavy marketing (and mark up) on bottled water in Africa etc etc. Plus a friend of mine used to work for them, and the way they treat their staff is appalling!Total Debt 13th Sept 2006 (exc student loan): £6240.06

Will you make me one? I really should get an avatar, but chatting away always seems to take priority :rotfl:Total Debt 13th Sept 2006 (exc student loan): £6240.06

Hiya,
No idea how they treat their staff but the baby powder con trick they do is terrible and has lead to loads of deaths. I dont touch their stuff either as I think they are disgraceful.
I will have a hot blackcurrent and some shortbread....mmmm yummy:DDebt Free - done

Now this sounds like a good idea! Diet coke for me as it's a little warm here!
I remember my Uni banned Nestle products for the baby milk thing. Too right too, though I'm afraid I succumb occasionally!

Hello! Just popping in before dd wakes up for her millionth feed of the day. Hope you're all okay?
I'm knackered, been up half the night and hubby is off out tonight to watch the football so no chance of a break - but my Mum and Dad are picking ds up from school so at least I don't have to do the school run....and it always turns into a run, or at least, a brisk jog these days - not used to having to get a baby ready yet lol."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
