O2 Free 2.50 Credit Not Working

Hi,

I received few O2 SIMS couple of weeks back. Today I tried to register them ( To get Free 2.50 credit) via sending SMS to 21500. But it says cannot send message at this time.
I tried to call this no. also but no luck.

I tried to register online and it says u need to be in call credit to receive 1 pound call credit.

Any One else also facing this same issue.

Looks like all those gud days of Free O2 call credit are over

I registered 4 this morning no problem via the O2 website try HERE and see if it helps any.

I thought o2 had reduced the credit for registering to £1 a while ago.

Is it back to £2.50 again now?

yer i have been geting £1 about a week ago.

i was only getting a £1 ages ago... when was the last time you got £2.50 mate?

it changed to a £1 round about march time and i havent been able to even get that.when i rang CS ( twice) i was told that you have to top up first before getting owt

Yesterday I registered via O2 website. Till now haven't got any free credit .There it is mentioned that to get 1 pound free credit, you should have credit on your mobile no. If you have zero balance on your new SIM, you won't get the free 1 pound credit.

Previously, it was not like this.

Does any one has received free 1 pound credit on a new SIM with Zero balance after registering with O2 website OR 21500 number.

i got that , but i could use the £1 on the card straight away....strange!
