I took out a £500 loan last month. Have yet to make a payment. They want me to make a payment this friday 26th. I dont know whether I will be able to afford to make any payment till 9th August. They dont call at my home because I said I will pay by debit card. Which I did on previous loan. I just wandered if I should make a payment on friday or could they wait till the 9th. I dont want to contact my agent because he might put pressure on me to pay. I dont know what to do or who to talk to.

If you gave them your debit card details they will probably just take the money when it is due. It will be much better for your credit rating if you pay on the date you agreed when you borrowed the money..
I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.

what is meant by provident loan? Is this a type of home loan or some other type ?
Google it for yourself. You seem to be intent on getting yourself into debt without the faintest idea of anything to do with credit.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.

Presumably you agreed to make the first payment on Friday when you took the loan out (just last month), therefore of course you should make a payment on Friday. If however you don't have the money (presumably someone else undergoing 'unforeseen circumstance') Then you can't.
I dont want to contact my agent because he might put pressure on me to pay.

I too whould expect them to pressurise you to pay when you agreed to. I think that Provident agents have penalties if their borrowers don't pay when expected.
I dont know what to do or who to talk to.
You could discuss it with Provident and let them know the situation and try to persuade them to accept a later payment - be prepared for pressure to pay what you might not be able to afford and to be asked lots of questions.
You could discuss the situation with CAB or one of the debt charities to see what they might suggest.
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.

That won't stop them - they have a continuous payment authority to take the payment, which will transfer to your new card after you 'lost' the last one.

Ring your bank to make sure any previous CPA is cancelled, just in case if worried they may take money. Bank may say they cant, but the have to.
