Pension transfer!with minimal running cost

Hello,

I need some advise about a pension fund transfer and I was wondering if someone would be willing to help me?

I have recently left my employer and therefore I have to transfer my pension plan to another pension scheme. My aim was to transfer my pension fund overseas, but it is not possible due some recent legislation changes in my home country.

My best option, as I understand, is to transfer the fund to the UK registered scheme. I have a poor knowledge of the UK pension market and would appreciate if you could help me.

Current value of my pension is approx. 10k. I am not working in the UK anymore and at the moment do not expect to contribute to the transferred scheme. I am looking for scheme with low/minimal running cost and low risk where I can keep my pension until I will be able to withdrawn the value, transfer overseas or will be allowed to take benefits.

Thank you.
Petr

Maybe a stakeholder would suit your particular circumstances?

    What is your home country?
    Where are you currently resident?

Some companies may not have the required permissions to transact with you depending on your location and method of application

In general, leaving an employer doesn't mean that one has to transfer a pension arrangement. If there is some specific circumstance which you haven't told us which rxplains why leaving the employer forces you to transfer out, it would be useful for you to tell us what that is.

If your home country (which I assume you have returned to) is in the EEA, it should be quite a straightforward affair, but obviously a question better suited to a local financial adviser.
