upset again

well ive just been on phone to loan company who have now decided to refuse the offer of the new secured loan- maybe not a bad thing. However the guy on the phone was adamant that my credit file shows £27k worth of debt even though i know i only have £23.5. I have checked my files and everything is correct.
I dont get it.
The guy also said that i would be very lucky to sort myself out without putting everything into a cheaper loan- i know its only sales patter to get me to sign up but its upset me none the less. Does everyone in the world expect me to fail or what?
So much for my positive week.
Sorry to rant-yet again.

The £27K may well be your available credit rather than what you've actually got outstanding, so don't worry about that too much.
You've got something better than a cheap apr loan though to help you clear these debts - you've got the DFW board
