Green tick?

On the main site's advice on competitions it says that on the forum there is a green tick that you can click on to indicate which competitions you have entered (to avoid multiple entries). I am probably being a bit dim but I can't seem to locate it. Help please?

At the bottom right of each comp post there's a line

The green tick is between the spam button and the X

  • Hi brooke :)

First of all you need to be logged in before the ticks, crosses and thanks buttons are visible. So just double check you are, sometimes the forums log you out after a while.

The buttons are on the first post in any competition thread, at the bottom right of the post, next to the 'Thanks', 'Quote', 'Report' and 'Spam' buttons. You should see a green box with a tick, and a red box with a cross. Press the tick if you entered the comp, press the cross if you didn't. When you view the main 'Competitions Time' forum, you will start to see ticks and crosses against each thread, depending on whether you've entered or not.

This post has more details with pictures.

    Hope that helps!

I have always used the skip button to indicate to myself that I have entered. Thanks very much for the information!
