Frozen Smoked Salmon

Hi everyone,
Please could you give me some advice regarding some smoked salmon that I put in the fridge by accident whilst rearranging the freezer. I bought the salmon reduced a few days ago and froze it, after it being in the fridge for 2/3 hours I noticed it in the fridge and just shoved it back in the freezer.
I know I shouldn't have re frozen it but do you think it'll be ok to eat now?
Thank you
P.S. If I did use it, I would be heating it through in a cream sauce to go with pasta.

If it was only a couple of hours in the fridge it probably wasn't defrosted so should be OK. I'd certainly eat it - just make sure it is thoroughly heated through.

it hardly had time to defrost did it? I would leave a pack of smoked salmon overnight to defrost!
btw - it takes me about 3 hours to defrost my freezer, clean it and put things back - so I must have done this many times without even thinking about it! and we never seem to have had any ill-effects!
Eat it - it will be fine!0
