However, I have a hotmail address used only for entering comps and an old mobile phone I use when a phone number is required.

You can't stop all the spam and junk mail but having separate email and phone helps keep it away from your land line and main email address.

It also means when the old mobile rings you know you have either a win ... or a sales call

Thanks Hamster. Will most comps accept your mobile number where your home number should go? Think I'll give it a try.

Sorry to be a pest, asking so many questions, but I am quite new to comping and I don't want to end up bombarded by sales calls at home.

You've answered my question anyway about whether someone can win twice. I won one last week but have kept going in the hope of winning a Wii games room. I've not had another call this week and neither have the family and friends who've started entering it too coz of the good chance of winning!
