Couldn't find any ice lolly moulds ANYWHERE! I managed to find some yesterday and made some weak gravy and doggy chocolate button ice lollies! They have gone down a treat! Although the sun has gone into hiding now

I made my boys smoothies out of carrot, broccoli, cauli & peas whizzed up with some goats yoghurt.
They loved it so I made more and froze in to ice cube trays:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j1 -
I might have to try that one! I did make them some ice cubes with doggy chocolate in as a treat, but they looked a bit...bland!xThe more one gets to know of men, the more one values dogs.0

Personally I would avoid gravy - a bit too salty, even if weak. You could simmer some bones in water to make a healthier stock to freeze, my dogs find it just as tasty!
I do a combination of MatyMoo and scaredy_cat's posts..blend veggies, add a bit of fish for flavour, and freeze into Kongs. Yummy treats that keep them occupied for a while0 -
Thanks krlyr, I just had to use what I already had in! Next time I might try making a smoothie! The more one gets to know of men, the more one values dogs.0

I've been using disposable plastic cups as moulds, just run hot water over them to loosen ice pop, pop em out and the dogs all grab em and run off to their fave bit of garden to devour and cool off. A bit of chopped up carrot, a few gravy bones broken in half, a good ol' dollop of peanut butter, mix it all up in a bowl, into the cups then freeze! The pooches have been LOVING them!
I wouldn't use gravy either - very salty and may contain onionsI don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

I boil some chicken up to keep in the fridge to feed my mutt every weekend. I pour the water afterwards into an ice cube mould, finely dice a bit of the chicken and put that in there, and they're his cold treats. They seem to do the trick0

I checked that it didn't contain onions first, as I know they are bad for dogsThe more one gets to know of men, the more one values dogs.0
