I wish companies were more clear about these things

I replied to the winning message on FB asking them to find someone local or else to find a good cause for it to go to. Hopefully they will do that for me.

:-( That is such a shame. I accidentally won a scooter that was collection only in Ireland recently & I didn't realise when I entered. (I could have been half asleep entering though!)

That sounds like something I would do too! I think some people/companies don't realise that FB has a broad customer base so you do need to specify these things these days. By the time you've stepped back a level to a friend of a customer, then you're no longer in a local catchment area.
Oh well, hopefully they will re-draw it or find someone having a fundraiser who can benefit.

They just got back to me and are making a donation of the value of the win to the local air ambulance. Not so boo after all because that's a great charity to support imo.
