I'd chop the skin off and roast it for crackling before slow cooking it. Otherwise the stock will be very fatty.Life is short, smile while you still have teeth0

But also if you drain the stock into a jug, when cold skim off the fat and use for roasties I have a couple of jars in my fridge which I keep as 'dripping jars' one for pork and one for beef.No wonder my children call me Frau Frugal0

I found a pork hock in the freezer that I'd forgotten about. I don't have a slow cooker but do have some flat coke I could do with using, and some bbq sauce from the summer.
How long would I cook this for in a conventional oven and how much coke would I need? Do I just pour over the coke or add anything else?Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
