I'd chop the skin off and roast it for crackling before slow cooking it. Otherwise the stock will be very fatty.

But also if you drain the stock into a jug, when cold skim off the fat and use for roasties I have a couple of jars in my fridge which I keep as 'dripping jars' one for pork and one for beef.No wonder my children call me Frau Frugal

pork hock works well as pulled pork. Put in a slow cooker, cover with coke and cook on low for about 8 hours, shred the meat and coat in bbq sauce

I found a pork hock in the freezer that I'd forgotten about. I don't have a slow cooker but do have some flat coke I could do with using, and some bbq sauce from the summer.

How long would I cook this for in a conventional oven and how much coke would I need? Do I just pour over the coke or add anything else?
