Control account plc

Options
Id be grateful to anyone who can help...
Just received a third letter from control account, advising I have an additional 14 days to pay them (over £100 for overstaying in a car park where its £3.50 to park all day). They also note if theyre successful in obtaining a CCJ I will need to pay the original charge, legal costs and interest at 8%.
I understand a CCJ cant be issued unless i refuse to pay after being ordered to do so by the court, however Im concerned that if the matter goes to court theyre requesting all these additional costs.
Is it worth paying now to avoid the risk of paying much much more later?
I began the ignoring process with steely resolve but admit Im now less confident. I dont really want to attend court or pay even more cash to these devils

I thought cases were progressing to court more frequently now? Can they really charge 8%? Where is that figure from? How much are legal fees?

They are a useless debt collection company, so the alleged debt is not theirs, so they cannot issue claims normally. Who is the original parking company behind this? And is it England or Wales?

    Thanks

Euro are utterly useless, its highly unlikely that they will issue any claims, they haven't got enough brain cells to know what a small claim is, and they admitted in the Sunday Times some time ago that they have never issued a claim ever, I can't see that changing.

LOL! I have a pile of those letters from Control Account in my handbag from 5 years ago, I use them as an example to friends and colleagues about what they can safely ignore if they've already ignored a fake PCN.

No worries with ECP, but obviously with the caveat that if they did suddenly send you a small claim you'd obviously defend it with help from here and pepipoo.

ECP never do court though except for the one time - and they lost!

As you can see in that case they were blinded by the thought of the money (lots of ignored fake PCNs by one person).

They are not suddenly going to choose your single fake PCN for court. These Control Account letters have been the normal letter chain for many years!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Cheers guys, I shall continue to ignore the letters. The more I think about it, the happier I am to attend court, I'd rather pay more then n know it was justified n my own fault, than crumble now. :T
