Wow, I am shocked that it has happened to so many of you too. I honestly couldn't believe it this morning and just thought "it could only happen to me"

I don't think it was opened by anyone as it was very tightly sealed. How strange. Oh well, hope it doesn't happen again.

Postage details on envelope say- Royal mail, postage paid GB. London WC 4071
Don't know if that information will help to find out where it's been sent from.

Once had an empty envelope.Turns out a relative had sent me £100 plus in cash & it had been nicked enroute :-(
Bit poor when it was registered & before anyone tell me I know cash should not be sent by post but the relative is very old & trusting.

i've had cash pinched out of cards
before too, they even selotaped the envelope
to try and hide it, also sent from an elderly relative

    :(

Yes I have had this on Hair straighteners from The Sun a couple of years ago - the PR company were very good and sent another one.

A huge thank you to all who post the comps and deals that make life so much fun!

This is what makes is frustrating - I don't know what was supposed to be in there or where it was sent from. If I did, I could contact them and ask for a replacement to be sent like you did.

Lauren, yeah I saw the funny side of it this time, but don't think I will if it happens again. :rotfl: The jiffy bag was tightly sealed shut so I doubt anyone stole the contents.

May well have been.Either way it should have been signed for.Instead I got a red card on the Monday for a missed delivery.I expected to pick it up at the Delivery Office on the Wednesday.Instead it was just delivered on the Tuesday, with no sign-for carried out.
I met with the delivery office manager but it could not be proved where the cash was taken enroute.
The break in delivery procedure set my alarm bells ringing but nothing more was done by RM,to my knowledge.

Recorded on a birthday card just screams I have money inside
it offers no extra security in transit
