WTC Question

Hi,

I normally get £21.00 per week for my WTC this was reduced to £17.00 per week as it was getting closer to my renewal.

When the system updates (been advised up to 6 weeks) will I get the extra £4 's I have losing out on per week since they reduced it?

Thanks in advance

If you renew (any time of the year is possible despite their warnings), it will be updated.

If the HMRC refuse to do a renewal mid-year, they'll wait until the end of the financial year (April 6th) before they re-asses whats happened and pay you in a lump sum. SOME times, they spread it, which is 99% of cases.

If the decide otherwise, that 'unpaid amount' will be spread over the next year in your usual payments.

I've had the same, and because I'm opening a company, spanked every penny I had on it, I'm literally living off of WTC. I sou;d have preferred a lump payment, but they won't do that. So I'd hang tight if I were you.
