hi
does anybody know how long it takes to receive a loan from greenwoods?
i applied online yesterday, it said i was provisionally accepted and then i received a phone call from the agent who is coming out to see me today.
i know that provisionally accepted does not mean that i have been fully accepted, but does anyone know from experience how likely it is that it will be approved? and what disqualifies you from the loan being approved? i am in full time employment, live on my own in council property and i do have some bad credit.
also if i am approved is there a maximum amount for a first time customer? i applied for £500 online, not sure if this is how much i will be getting though. Also if approved when will i receive the loan?
thanks in advance

Hiya
you are basically approved, Its down to the agent now- proof of income etc.
You will not get £500 not a chance
You will get £200 first time and after on time payments etc you can have more and eventually whatever you want.
The interest is very high though so be carefull.
I have used shopacheck for years and have paid them off now, But it can be hard to get out of debt with them0 -
ps you will get the money today or maybe a day or two later0

thank you for your reply, i didnt think i would get 500, expecting more like 100.
i used provident about ten years ago and have never had to use anything like this since but its an emergency and a one off. i am hoping to pay it all back in one go at the end of the month but seeing as i will have to pay the same amount as i would if i paid it weekly i may see what the weekly costs are and pay it off over a few weeks.
thanks again0 -
if you pay it off staright away you will only pay back a little bit of interest0

avoid there apr is ridiculous
and its a nightmare having them come round every week to collect payments.
mine would regularily either not turn up or was late0 -
How does that name get through the swear filter?0

use a payday loan if 100% paying back within a monthDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
