Still waiting for OR Interview BUT

I am a little confused, still waiting for my OR interview but today I received a letter from The Insolvency Service and it goes as follows:
Thank you for returning the signed income payments agreement (IPA). The Official Receiver has signed the agreement which is now legally enforceable. A copy is enclosed for your records.
The Official receiver has arranged for an agent to deal with the collection of your payment, whose details are:
Someone from that firm will contact you shortly to make arrangements for your payments to commence and I confirm that they are authorised to act for the Official Receiver in this matter.
Then attached to it is a copy of the form I filled in for the OR to agree to pay my tax when I get a NT code from the tax office until the end of the tax year.
Does this mean I will get details of my OR interview soon?

Sounds like someone in the OR's office has made a complete b@lls up of the admin.
You need to contact them and explain exactly what you have received, and explain that you are still waiting for an interview.
That is the wrong letter to receive at this stage, with the wrong form attached.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Maybe they've got some lax temp staff. Someone here got someone else's BR letter the other day.BSC #53 - "Never mistake activity for achievement."

To me it sounds like you have either had the interview and not realised (When did you sign the NT IPA) or there is not going to be an interview.
There would be no reason to do the NT IPA before the interview as they would only calculate the surplus (or lack of it) to see what the normal IPA would be during or after the interview.
There are three types of cases:
1) No interview and all comes from the SA
2) Telephone interview (or telephone contact to clear up a few points)
3) Face to Face interview.
You could be 2 with a telephone conversation to clear up the IPA and therefore there may be no formal interview0 -
Hmmm...
Possible it is a type '0' case where the OR has determined that: EDIT: Obviously not - See OP's post below.
* no additional essential information is required;
* no further investigation is required;
* the case is suitable for early discharge;
* the examiner believes that the necessary recommendations can be made and instructions given without contacting the bankrupt, and
* the reason for the insolvency is fully explained in the statement of affairs
don't seem to see many of them on here, so it doesn't immediately leap to mind.
owetoomuch, I would still contact the OR politely to clarify whether you should be receiving an interview, as that will set your mind at rest as to whether everything is proceeding correctly.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Rang the ORs office about this today the person I spoke to didn't understand what I was talking about as apparently I have an OR telephone interview next week, will ask the OR then about this letter.Went BR 25th May 2007 at 12.33, OR Interview now done. :eek: BSC No 880

Oh well, it does sound like someone at the OR's office might have got their wires crossed.
The good thing is that you should be able to get everything straightened out during the interview.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Have taken the day off work for this but I am really dreading it, especially after reading the newspaper article on one of the other posts.Went BR 25th May 2007 at 12.33, OR Interview now done. :eek: BSC No 880

Really really don't worry about that! I've been reading forums on bankruptcy for 7 months, and I have never heard of someone being treated the way that was described in that article.
It is someone with a very nasty agenda.
The worst that could happen is that you might get a few awkward questions from a strict OR. But they are just doing their job, and it is nothing to worry about. They just need to to check you haven't got a villa in the south of France or a Ferrari hidden in your garage. :rotfl:
Seriously though, it will be OK.
