Balance Transfer - HELP

My bf was considering getting a credit card on my behalf so that i can take advantage of the 0% balance transfer deal for 13 months with RBS/NATWEST.

Does anyone know if this is ok? or is there small print which determines it needs to be debt under the same persons name. ( im in a DMP)

what if i were an additional card holder, would this help?

... The plan is to offer a full and final settlement to my creditors then transfer those balances.

Hope this makes sense, any help would be very appreciated.

Many thanks

there is no problem with someone else paying your debts off, your creditors wont mind a bit.

In fact in F&F settlements it is generally recommended that someone else actually pays the debt.

I'm not quite sure that you will be able to BT to anything but the creditor may accept a CC payment i suppose but this may not be considered a BT by his CC company.. you need to think about exactly how you plan to get the money out of the CC.
Probably best to get a egg money card and use it as a SBT / mule card.
