Can someone please advise on the average length of time a mortgage application takes. We have been approved on principle and have paid the valuation fee up till now (solicitor is also in place) Thanks x:beer:

The whole process can be completed in a matter of weeks.
If you are buying and you are not in a chain, it can take around four weeks but sometimes this process is slowed down by problems in the chain.

Theres no chain as the sellers have already completed on their home but we havent had the mortgage actually accepted yet just in priciple and im on nerves about it cos i really want the houseNever look back if you want to move forwards
