The 2 simple questions to ask these companies is - how confident are you that i have been miss sold? Followed by, if you are that confident instead of paying £495, would you accept 50% of this £20k as your payment once you get the money back? Surely receiving £10k of a guaranteed £20k is better than receiving £495.

Unless the firm were investment registered, pre mge pre-regulation (31 Oct 2004), the only aspect of a complaint that would be considered, is if the mge term went into retirement without any assessment of affordabiilty.

Complaints for example over whether a 3 or 5 yr fixed was more suited, will not be assessed for a 1990 sale.

And even if there is a justified complaint, there is absolutely no need to engage an claims chasing company (whom neither persuade a company to uphold, nor achieve any higher compensation than whats actually due), and whom despite claiming to have your interests at heart, want a cut of any compensation for the privilidge.

I'm sorry to say this, but they are low life's happily trying to exploit the laymans lack of knowledge on financial services complaint processes, and for nothing but their own gain ...... IF you believe you have been mis-sold provide the details here, where you will receive un-biased and FREE factual guidance and assistance, where we want nothing in return but simply to share our knowledge and help others where we can.

    Hope this help
