I have asked the lender lots of times they have said they will contact me when they hear anything, just getting really impaitent though as my ex has made it unbearable for me to live in the same house as him and despite me offering to indemnify him, where as i have to still pay half the mortgage plus rent.

If they say no any ideas how i can get him out?

But i do have an overdraft which i go into at the end of each month. Its a £500 overdraft.

Potentially could be an issue. As you are requesting to take on a larger financial commitment, i.e. the entire mortgage along with all the costs of ownership.

Sell up and rethink your plans, for e.g. buy somewhere cheaper and more affordable.
