Mortgage Renewal without job?

Hi All,

This is the scenario:

- Got mortgage a couple of years ago when I was employed. Now coming to end of contract - My own Mortgage company are writing to me to ask to renew with them with offers and my broker is sending me info to go with other companies with x deal etc.

- I've just been made redundant from my current job and looking for a new one.

What are my best options here? Will my current provider ask for income proofs if I sign back with them?

what is your current lenders SVR? assuming its just the end of the fix term, the follow on rate may be better?

every chance that the current lender may confirm such details to get the new rate, but you could be better reverting to standard rate...

If you stay with your current lender and aren't wanting to borrow more, no further checks will be done when you secure a new rate.

If you have no job then no other mortgage lender will touch you and you are just wasting your time/broker's time looking at other lenders.
