Question about our venue

Hi Folks,

My partner and I recently booked our wedding venue for September 2015. While we were there, getting the tour, talking about what we would like etc, we decided to talk numbers with them.

Now we told them we're planning to have 70 day guests on a Saturday, they went away checked and came back and said that's ok. I did point out that their own paper work says 80 day guests minimum for a Saturday, but they have insisted it was ok. So upon that I paid the deposit etc,

We received a draft bill (as final numbers won't be agreed for a while, 2 years and all that), I again queried the venue and they assured me, despite the "80 day guests minimum" in the "agreement amongst friends" that it's ok, but something isn't sitting right me with,

The question I have is, should I accept that they've said all is well and not worry or get them to ammend the draft bill to reflect that they've accepted 70 day guests before I sign the "agreement amongst friends"

Definately get them to ammend it.

I would prefer it to be amended but otherwise I would want written confirmation from them acknowledging your agreement and stating that it supersedes/overrides/amends the other paperwork.

Thanks for the replies folks! I'll ask them to amend it, I was mulling it over and thinking "would they try and screw me over" but better to be safe than sorry!!:D
