Hi,
We need to contact the CSA as our case should soon be coming to an end. How long do they usually take to reply to letters? I understand that's the best way of contacting them
Thanks

God knows, it varies massively. I'd say if they've not replied in two weeks call them and give them a nudge.0

Well,I wrote to them in Dec 2012 to confirm that my case as a pwc had ended as my daughter had left college and I had reported the Ch/ben change to the Ch/ben department. I specifically asked that the CSA send me a letter confirming CM had ended, sent it recorded delivery & I'm still waiting for the reply 7 months later !0

The best way to contact them is via the phone, that way your contact is logged on the system at the time it happens. Follow it up by sending a letter on the same day if you want. Depending on what you're writing to them about, they may not send you a letter in response, preferred method of contact for all actions for them is telephone - that way everything gets recorded by them, and there's an instant conversation between both you and them.0 -
After the experiences we have had with the CSA recently we have been advised to only deal with them in writing. I'm going to frame it when I get it !0
