he got done for taking employee tax and not paying itDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

I never even heard of them until I watched Watch Dog on BBC.
I can't believe such a "company" could exist. It's so not a company, its a clearly a criminal organisation preying on the low income households.
It made my blood boil on how shi44ty people can behave to others. I really hope the owner and the sales people in the BBC programme are investigated and sent to prison. They are all fraudsters.0 -
Just as bad but where were the regulators - it shouldn't take watchdog alone to expose.
That's the problem when you employ people who could never put themselves in the position of those in the predicament - but least you have bribery covered I suppose, if nothing else if your not the big boss! Again regulation fell short.0 -

The thing about external government regulators of any industry is that they only tend to audit the companies that want to be compliant. The evil companies will want to remain hidden under the radar for as long as possible, or perhaps, be ignorant enough to not even realise that there is an regulator they are supposed to report to and comply with.0 -
Hi needing a bit of advise here, four months ago my wife purchased a Zafira on finance from fowlers in manchester. Obviously it was an expensive purchase due to her credit file but she went with it due to the fact she was desperaste for a reliable car and the finance guy on site said if she keeps up the repayments she will have a better credit file three years later so she would get a better finance package when she wants another. anyway it all went through with no deposit aswell. she collected the car and everything was all good. also they put a passtime device on it so if you dont pay they immobilise the car. like i said we paid every month without problems on time. we also took out warranty by fowlers at £6.00 a week it covered everything almost and again this was taken out of our bank account everyweek. A few weeks ago the car alarm kept going off at random times so i checked fuses and sensors on it, couldnt find a problem, then last week we got in it to go out for the day and it would not start, no ignition lights came on when u tried to turn it over the head lights came on and the alarm went off. however the car radio and clock with internal lights came on as they should. We contacted Fowlers at Manchester they told us to contact after care, we tried to phone them and it was just ringing out all the time. we then contact manchester again told them whats happening and he gave us another number to phone, a guy called Arran he said he was after care but did not have a machanic in manchesater area and went on to say find a garage and get them to do a dianostic check on it and to phone him back, we have a relible garage near us so we phoned our recovery green flag to collect the car and to take it to him. As good as he is he couldnt find the fault so he transferred it to another garage and said they will call us back. my worry is that ive seen fowlers all over the net and people have had lots of problems with their cars from them and been told to get it onto a garage and fowlers will pay the garage direct and this dosent happen and i dont want to be messing, our regular garage about. also we paid for warranty as this was a safe guard in the event anything went wrong which seems to be pointless as nobody seem to be getting cars repaired, can anyone let me no if they have taken extra warranty out and have had simlar experiences, thanks chris from Stockport0

If you want to know why they wanted bank statements and card pictures..... It's a industry standard, they can look at the pattern of paid in credits from work, DLA, tax credits etc and know exactly the time and date money goes into your account. With the debit cards they can take the money out.
Eg. You have £500 tax credits every 24th of month.... So they know that 00:01 in the morning on 24th they can make a request. This way they get their money before you get a chance to take it out or use it for something else. Payday lenders use the same techniques.0 -
We stupidly bought a car from them couple of years ago, had many a problem with it and refused to pay the monthly "in house" finance until they fixed it. Eventually, they fixed it and we said to them to carry on the monthly payments, which they didn't do. So we haven't been paying but they haven't been chasing us, which made me wonder why. I did a check on our car and found that the car still has unpaid finance from black horse and also their "in house" finance to us. Problem is, I don't know what to do as the car has no problems but I don't want it any more and feel ripped off by them as I feel we have now paid what the car is worth but know that we owe more. I can't sell it too because it has two lots of outstanding finance on it which I'm sure is not legal. Im willing to pay what I'm contracted to pay but it's damn principle! They prey on those desperate and in need.0
