I can't do 5 either, I also cannot find the San Francisco secret location, I've been looking for the last hour and my eyes hurt!

If you can get 'select all' the symbol shows up as a blue square

If it helps the mouse cursor will become a pointing finger when you are in the right place. I still couldn't see it even after I found it.

looking at the window side there should be 2 main statues infront of you - to the right of these there is a table and past the table is the other statue for that side. the opposite side is in similar place

for window side if statues are numbered 1, 2, 3 left to right the order is 2,3,1 then go to opposite side (numbered 4,5,6 left to right) order is 4, 6, 5.
You need to click on the bottom part of the statue

Thanks everyone, mission accomplished in Paris.
I also found the San Francisco mission, but no idea where as I ended up clicking all over the place in desperation, left the game. Came back & just noticed that I had achieved it.

San Francisco: When you have the steps in the middle of the picture, drag the picture down as if you want to look at the very bottom of the steps, the picture of the steps will start to go blurry. Just as it starts to go blurry, go left (anticlockwise). Not to much as what your looking for is actually on this huge rock to the left of you. As you go left on the huge rock you will see a section of it flattened and purple. The symbol is there.
