Hi folks, seem to have knackered my back, chiropractic has helped in the past but my former chiropracter has shut up shop.
can anyone recommend one in the greater belfast area (i live in east Belfast). what would be even better is someone who's open into the evenings for treatment but i can skip out of work for an hour if necessary.
thanks!!!

I have used John Martin at Arches Physio in the past - he is very good. Based in Holywood Arches area, near Strandtown police station - from memory he opens evenings.

Mines down in Downpatrick/Newcastle, so that's not really any good to you! But he's good! (I live in Belfast, but would go down to him)0

There's one at the top of the Castlereagh Road. Can't think of the name just now, but pass it every day
It's beside the pizza place by the lights, across the road from John Dory's.
Had a colleague who used them all the time and swore by them.0 -
yeah i know the one you're talking about, was considering it but it's always good to get a recommendation first, in my experience they tend to be quite a lot of money so you want one who doesn't keep making you come back!0

Just a quick note on Back Pain. Make sure it's nothing more sinister before going to a Chiropractor as I had back pain 5+years ago and was going to a chiropractor. Yeah it seemed to make it better (For a while anyway) Anyway just over 2 years ago now I actually got diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS) (A type of Arthritis) and going to a chiropractor is probably the worst thing you could do!! And just because your young doesn't mean you wont get Arthritis. AS occurs most often in younger people (20~mid 30's) 1 in 100 men have it in UK and 1 in 250 Women. It's actually genetic so worth looking into family history.Live, Love & Laugh A Lot!0

many thanks, colin - i saw an arthritis specialist last year and had a barrage of tests done due to other symptoms (which turned out to be diagnosed as fibromyalgia) so i'm pretty sure it's not arthritis or anything similar.0
