'Win' but have to pay delivery

I've just won something on twitter and been sent over a code to redeem my prize however this doesn't cover the £4.99 shipping cost.
Is there anything I can do about this?
Are there any ASA guidelines or whatever that explicitly says that you can't be charged for a win?

Check the competition rules, it was probably in there which you would p have accepted before entering the competition.
If the prize is worth over a fiver and you really want it, well......make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
I won on twitter so there weren't really any terms linked to the particular tweet. I've asked them for the link to the terms and they have linked me to a term post from a competition back in April 2012
Surely it's unreasonable to expect me to look at over a years worth of tweets to find it?0 -
Gambling commission view is charging a normal delivery charge is ok.In the Commission’s view, that does not mean that prize winners cannot be required to pay normal delivery or other normal costs needed to obtain or use the prize. For instance, the Act’s provisions do not, in the Commission’s view, prevent the organiser of a competition in which a camera is a prize requiring the winner to pay normal delivery costs which might be charged if that same camera was bought from a retailer. Nor, clearly, does it prevent the winner of a car being required to pay road tax. But there can be no additional payment over what it would normally cost to pay for delivery or use0

Thankyou for finding that out for me!
Tbh I think I'm going to just tell them to redraw, they have mentioned that in future there going to have a terms page on their website always linked to the competition so at least future winners will be well advised0 -

There maybe something on the ASA/IPM websites about delivery charges but I couldn't find it.
Competitions on twitter are the worst for a lack obvious T&C's.0
