I agree with ndf9876,
we went to look at a house marketed at "offers over"
3 days after the viewing the EA rang to ask what we thought and when I said we would no way offer over the price ,they asked how much we were prepared to offer , as I was'nt interested in the house after viewing, I said something really silly, and to my surprise the EA asked if I would like to make that an official offer , I nearly fell of my chair LOL
OP ,I would say go have a look but be prepared to be declined on offers, but remember a house is simply that its a house , its not your home until you have bought it , so be prepared to walk away0 -

I must admit that I was humming and haaing between two places in May and after a lot of lists and discussions with partner came down on the side of a house, but put in a silly offer on the other place - £20k under the asking price. Word came back that the offer was a little too low and I said I didn't want to go any higher. As it happens, I've got a provisional moving in date for the house, but the flat I offered on is still on the market - go figure.0
