I ordered the car seat along with the bourjois 3 for 2 offer. My subtotal said £69 with the discounts which was correct but for some reason they charged me £106.95 in the order total. I have spoken to customer service today who said the refund team will look into and should refund me only £26? She said the 20% maxi cosi offer not now online. I explained the promotions and discounts which are on my order confirmation which all add to £69 so I should only be charged this but advised that they "need to look into it". I've even sent email with photo of the discounts! Will wait and see. :(

That is nonsense! If you ordered whilst the 20% was still active that is what they need to sell it to you for. I am sure if you have sent them a copy of your discounts and final total they will refund you correctly. Good luck.

Looks like they have had other stock in - I've ordered a Black one this morning (also denim one now seems to be out of stock).

I do need to ring up about the £25 code though - it stated it in my order but with no value. Hopefully it works otherwise I'm going to send it back!

Just rang them up and they said they will refund the £25 on dispatch and to chase them if they don't. Said it might take 4 Or 5 days after dispatch though

The 10% off £80 is no longer available but it is now £5 off £50 so a wee bit more expensive.

I thought it was nonsense too, I was also put on hold a lot while the customer service rep spoke to the refunds team so i dont think she fully understood the discounts. When I chase the refund up think I'll ask to be put through to them directly.

It is exactly the same. Was £5 off £50 when I did mine but seems to be £5 off every £50 - so £100 -£5 -£5 = £90. Then you get the £25 off so still works out at £65

£25 parenting club seems to be working again. Total £65 plus 1000 advantage points plus quidco or Topcashback.
  • Thanks OP.

Does anyone know if the £25 parenting club code can be used twice in separate transactions? I have twins so would need to buy two car seats and so would want to try and get the £25 off both if possible?
Erm I'm not sure if I've got the hang of this money saving.....I seem to be spending more money buying 'bargains' that I don't really need - oops!! :)

No sadly not but you could sign your other half up, just make sure you add the parenting club and his advantage card to his account.
  • Thanks twinklyeys - good idea! :)

I've ended up buying some totally different ones now as my twins aren't quite at the stage for these seat yet so I was going to be buying in advance! I think I got quite a good deal (hopefully) so I'll just mention it in case anyone else can benefit...

I bought the Britax Eclipse in Black Thunder from Mothercare online currently reduced to £56.69 (RRP says £129.99 although it is sold cheaper than this). There are also some codes on the codes board for £5 off £50 spend and 5.25% through TCB.

Also you get a pair of Mothercare Pop Up Cat Sunshades free with any car seat order.

Ooh I've never tried to do a link before so not sure if that will work!
