Hi peeps, I've not been around much this year and thought I'd give a quick update!
Well in March 2006 I had my lighbulb moment and we owed £9429.97 on credit cards, kitchen finance and car loans.
We were doing fantastically well but in December took out another car loan and bought a new sofa on 0% finance! so our debt at the anniversary of my LBM was £6658.31
It currently stands at £4671.59 and as you can see below out credit card debt is almost gone! The car loan has 2 years left to run although we are aiming to pay this off quicker and the sofa is 0% until December when we intend to pay it off (currently have £1000 in savings)
Although I must admit we have been abit lax in holding onto the purse strings and are already £300 overdrawn and payday is not until friday. The good things is that my cake business from home is now set up and I have £75 of orders this month, £80 next month and £150 for August and orders are coming in weekly!:T
so theirs my update, if it wasn't for the car loan and sofa we'd have been debt free in Jan! tut:rolleyes:
