Hi
Picking up all sorts of money-saving tips from this site - thank you! Does anyone know whether its well worth it v. throwing money away buying diet supplements. I estimate I spend a 3 figure amount of money pa on these - as preventative measure stuff (well - how many of us want to be at the tender mercies of state health care these days?!!). I get glucosamine (my joints), kelp (for the minerals), multivit and digestive enzyme (now I'm in 50 plus age group and I get intermittent heartburn if I dont have that) - nearly forgot :flaxseed oil (veggie equivalent of cod liver oil). Another cheque for £16.90 has just gone winging off for the oil. Obviously I am well aware that cheapie brands arent worth it - so I get reasonable quality (I tried the does your supplement dissolve in slightly warmed vinegar test on ones I bought from a certain v. well-known health food store - to check whether they were dissolving ok in my stomach or heading straight thru. Most of this chain stores ones were heading straight thru I found.)
