Not sure, but I would be surprised. 2 reasons, they're one of the sponsors, so no really connected to the comp. But mainly because it's clearly an error that the 'not interested' box doesn't work. So I think it would be very unfair to not count our entries, and hopefully not easy to trace back to show that's what happened. What does everyone else think?

On the bright side if any of us did win and got disqualified we would probably be none the wiser so I say go for it and enter.

Yes, I just got this too.

I start with Handbag.com, so sent them an e-mail about the issue and asking them to sort it out.

I pointed out if you say 'not interested' they shouldn't be requiring the other information.

Thanks - we should defo not be forced into saying yes and we also shouldn't be forced into giving our private numbers to sponsors!
:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea

Thanks was just wondering about this too! Don't agree with making up a number that could be real though as someone could actually own the number and be contacted by the company. Would not be happy if it ended up being my number especially if they text as some texts actually charge you to receive! Hope they sort out the issue soon!

I was also wondering, with the other comps, the magazine must pass on your details as the minute I've accidentally clicked yes to something I've received emails from the advertising companies (and free sim cards through the post etc...) so I'd make sure you don't have you phone number on your account just in case they do call on your real number!

When I did the other magazine that had these wretched questions, I answered the last question 'Age of the youngest homeowner' as seven... :p

I was quite relived to see the question wasn't in the other dallies I did...

if you input numbers as anything excepts starting 01 or 02 then you won't inadvertently give them someones number
