wish lists

Curious to know whether any compers keep a list of what they want to win/enter ( for friends, family etc) or just for yourself? Especially running up to Christmas (eek its not far away!) are there things that you try to win rather than buy. My youngest son is eager for V Fest tickets and anything to do with Rihanna , ive tried but no luck yet for them (I don't think he will appreciate my very first win a lovely photo album last week!!) I've found myself keeping a mental note of what seems to be 'in' and what might be worth putting extra time into finding comps for. :)

I don't really keep a list, but have a sort of idea in my head that my son would like tickets to a magic show, or a new guitar and my daughter likes fashion, shoes, make up etc. I also search for tickets etc in the town I live.

I don't keep a list but sometimes I will search for something specific that I know I/a friend might like which tends to be things like concert tickets. :)

Toys, perfume/aftershave, and household things really for me, or an ITV win of course!

  • At the moment I'm comping like crazy for a prezzie for my lovely BF. As he's a huge Bury FC fan, I've got my fingers, toes and everything else crossed for this!

I keep a list of what I want to win in my signature and I always try to win things so it saves me buying it have a box full of samples of toiletries will start using them once I've run out of all mine.
I ask my family what do you want me to win you they always say anything. The things I usually win is what I always want have won make up for a family member waiting for their birthday to give them it.

Not usually but earlier this year I won an overnight stay in London and since my American DH has never been we're going to go try have a *really* cheap (saving for expensive visa stuff) trip down there in August.

So we're booked on the Mega-bus from Leeds to London £20 in total and I'm entering like crazy for any meals/shows/anything in London to try minimise the cost.

    Wish me luck :D

May you all have lots of luck, Emma xx

  • Thanks everyone, nice to know everyone is pretty much doing the same !! Comping does become addictive doesn't it? but I am enjoying so far and getting the hang bit by bit. I am still typing mine manually rather than robot. Its a good job I am a typist lol

I have a list - as you will notice in my signature :p .... although I caved in and brought a washing machine. So may as well take that one off lol. But I'd love to win at least ONE thing on my list. Obviously a big ITV win will most likely cover the whole thing though!!

I see a lot of things and think 'so and so wants one of them' like my sister for example, she needs a new bed so I have been entering them in hope for a win. I know she'd be over the moon!!
