Credit Report - wish I'd looked ages ago!

okay - following all the advice on here, and getting bank charges back, I've finally got finances under control. From being in depths of despair, overdrawn at the beginning of the month, living under incredible stress, I've now cleared nearly all debts and even have some money left at the end of the month.
One step I was too scared to take was to look at my credit report. (Free month trial plus £5 cashback through quidco) Took the plunge last night. It's not nearly as bad as I thought. Most lenders where I had missed payments are showing a clean record. In fact, only one is showing a missed payment.
The bad news is that there are three defaults. BUT TWO ARE MISTAKES! One is where First National Bank/GE Money settled the account when I tried to claim back charges. I have a letter from them saying so. The other is the Open University where I took out a budget account, but paid the course fees in full. they admitted an admin error at the time, and in fact, I'm still using this account with a faultless payment history. There is another account which I defaulted on last year (missed couple of payments, but paid in full) and they told me a default would be registered - but no mention of it on my credit report. I also fell out with AOL couple of years ago and got chased for payment, even though I didn't have any service for a year and a half, and paid for it for most of that time. It's only when I cancelled payment they jumped into action.
However, one is real but I don't remember getting any documentation regarding it so I am going to challenge it.
Really wish I'd had a look at this ages ago, could have been sorted by now. And very worrying that mistakes happen so easily!
Have a look at yours, folks, and see what people are seeing!
