How much have you/will you spend 5/6/07?

Hey guys!! Just thought I would pop in and start this thread off for the day!!

Today is my last day of work, so I am a bit scared & need to use all of my MSE skills and knowhow to see me through to finding another job.

I leave Sydney tomorrow and head to HK for my holiday (get to see my sister and friend from home so very excited!!) and then I am coming back to Australia and going to Melbourne to work for the rest of my visa....

So no more paydays for a while!! On the plus side we have managed to get a refund from our landlord of $490 for our "no lift saga" which will definately help out!!

I dont want to bore you with my stories (if you do however want to know every detail, read my travel diary link in signature!!), but I just wanted to pop in and say hi!!

I am NOT going to buy any more clothes and I am going to go back to my "make do" mindset - the amount of stuff I've had to send home is ridiculous, meanwhile that money would have been much needed in my travel fund. Grrrr. So annoyed at myself for that.

I hope life in the UK is treating you well - you're getting better weather than me now so I am jealous!!

SS/Jamesy/**pp** - how are you all?

Have a good day xx

Morning Ms. London! You sound very happy! Have a fantastic time in HK! Good morning to everyone else who follows!

I've had a very odd, but relatively DFW weekend. A chance e-mail conversation yesterday with my landlady revealed that she wasn't renewing our contract (she wants to move back in), but the Estate Agents hadn't let us know... meaning we have 7 weeks to move (and we're away for a week of that!). After the initial panic, we've been researching the rental market of the place we're intending to purchase a house in, within 2 years, and Rentals are fantastically cheap... so we're intending to move there, now. It'll save us about £100 a month rent and £10 a month Council tax, but cost OH £30 extra to get to work. All good!

Sorry, had to babble about it. Am strangely excited, as although this feels like home in a way, we both really want to live in Carshalton! (does anyone know Carshalton? it's Surrey, Zone 5, South of London).

ANNND today: £3 spend on loo roll, mushrooms and bread rolls

    Morning All

Hoping for a NSD or at least a LSD (low spend day). Sent off cheque to pay CC in full (and have cut up said card!). Day off so, if I can keep away from shops, I should be on target.

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning all,

It's my day off today and I am going to the hairdressers at 10:30 for a colour and cut. Now, I used to have it coloured every 3/4 months (before DFW days) at a cost of £55 a time  and I've not been for about 8 months now (so saved about £90). In July we are going on holiday to Portugal and DH said to do my colours before we go as a treat :kisses3: This has been budgeted though, and afterwards I need to do a shop at Sainsbury's, this is also budgeted. Apart from these two, today will be a NSD. :p

:hello: Hi all, PAP has this post going too!

Should be a low day for me - posting two books - but get two in return, posting eBay sale - but already paid for, so that'll cost me £4.50ish but nowt if you see what I mean!

That should be it for today - can't think of anything else I really need!

Well I broke my NSD run last night, OH and I went for a lovely long walk along the beach and we eneded up getting fish n chips on the way back so I ended up spending £8 (or at least I think we used my money... It was all in his pocket and I didn't get any change so I'm assuming we used mine).

Still not bad though since I'd had 4 NSD's in a row.

Aiming for another NSD today, don't have any reason to spend any anyway.

    Morning all,

I think it's going to be a big-spender for me, I've still got a few bits to buy for my festival weekend. But there's money in the Bank and I'm treating the long weekend as my short summer break. :rotfl: I'm making my final debt payment tomorrow too. So am feeling good about spending for a change. :T I'll be back to basics next week though.

A NSD for me as I'm staying in today trying to shake off my hangover! (Was a No Spend night last night as it was a work function with drinks thrown in. So I had to make the most of it, of course)

    These NSDs are quite addictive!
