Be Aware: Tropical Sun Competition

I have received an email to enter a competition for"Tropical Sun"

I have not entered but to date have received emails from 7 different people who are entering.

I am receiving their entries with full details of their names and emails---but more worrying their full address details.

Having read 2 have immediately deleted the rest.These emails arrive with the name of the person who has entered as the subject.

Am contacting the company but please be aware that your personal details may be being sent to complete strangers.

Are you Vicky?
If you enter on a phone then "Reply" & "Reply all" are very close & it could be that Vicky hit "Reply all" by mistake?

No, I am not Vicky but the e-mails I've been sent have her details in them. I am also receiving a lot of e-mails from people that are clearly meant for tropical sun asking why they have been sent Vicky details and I now have their e-mail addresses. I have not even entered this comp so I have no idea why I am being sent all these e-mails. They have my details from a 'vending' machine comp where they were giving away small freebies that they were doing a while back.

I just had an e-mail from the company:

'Dear Sun lovers,



As some of you will be aware, today we’ve had an issue with an email competition we sent out earlier today to win some Coconut Water.



Due to a technical issue with the email account and some people have been replying to this account directly instead of clicking on the link which has caused unforeseen problems.



We have now closed this email account down and are looking into why this has happened and apologise for any distress this may have caused.

Now I have calmed down slightly I think it must just be my e-mail that people could see & not my name and home address. But still a bit worrying!

Same here I've had quite a few emails from them with peoples names on and one even had their address just marked them as junk.I had the email twice from tropical sun apologising so glad I never entered the comp never knew about it until I go the emails.
