Mortgage advise first time buyer?

Hi ,

I'm currently looking to buy my first house , and trying to find out how much I can borrow

But here lies the problem , my contact hours in my current workplace is 23 hrs per week, but ever since I've started in the company, 3 years ago I've always done a lot more .... (overtime, bonuses, working else-where in the business)

my contact hours give me 8k take home a year

but my average over three year has been 15k

Would they take it to consideration or would it only ever be off contacted hours? any advise would be appreciated...

Many Thanks martyn

It might be possible to do it on your full income rather than your contracted hours, but it depends on the evidence you have to back it up (usually pay slips)/how its displayed and what the lender requires and their criteria... hows that for "how long is a piece of string?".

You really need to be speaking to the lenders your thinking of going with or speaking to a broker to do the donkey work for you.
